Simply can’t choose a car

I know for some people it not just a choice and some need a certain type vehicle as transport, ie hoists to be fitted, ramps etc, we’re not at that stage yet so opens up I guess more choice.

However this choice for me is such a mine field.

Lots of different choice that lazily I’ve not kept up todate with, been to see a few cars available but tbh don’t like for what ever reason..

Think I’ll just go Volvo again, must be just age and lifestyle that’s brought me to such ignorance..

In reality I’d extend again and save the cost, even after 5 yrs..

Is it just me who feels such a dinosaur..😊😆

It is indeed a great looking car and kit that is second to none. The 3, ZS and HS aremiles apart from their predecessors, infact I believe the HS won car of year. The new hybrid+ makes 224HP and around 50mpg. It is indeed bigger than your xc40, being around 4.6m long.

Android Auto / Car Play, I believe is down to licensing, why it isn’t wireless. Hundai/Kia in the grand scheme of things, have only recently gone wiress AA & CP on it’s ccNC models and it’s not alone in this area. The latest car play ultra, has seen manufacturers like BMW saying they aren’t goin to support it. Many manufacturers are looking at integrating Android Automotive, with Google up front and Youtube, if you wish. That said, there are some excellent wireless adaptors for around £50 these days. @Rene mentioned one the day I think?

The Ski hatch, the thing I always forget and end up dropping half the rear seats, so like you said, it’s not a biggy.

Kezo thanks for the reply, not sure if you’ve noticed this MG while out and about, keep an eye out for one,  I love the exterior, but tbh that’s all I’ve seen…

                What a great looking vehicle..

The interior is nicely laid out, neighbour down road opted for 2 tone interior which looked nice and modern. Like most cars today alot is touch screen with short cuts, which seem easy enough in this, it’s roomier than my Tucson and if I’m honest, I wish I’d hung out on the Tucson PHEV till this came out, as the PHEV version can do upto 75 miles, double that of the Tucson. Longbridge still has a design studio, although manufacturing stopped in 2016 and had input on it being european enough lol auto express.

Like all new models, they have to comply with the latest EU GSR2, so they chime alot and reset on restart, but MG has gone someway to quickly turn those off you don’t want.

Plantetauto, have a review and road test 1 & 2 over considerable miles in the ICE. Worth a watch of the three youtube vids.

PHEV, incase they missed something in previous ICE video’s to do with the car in general.

Going to test drive the mg Sunday, hopefully might find something I like about it more than the looks, bmw x1 was a let down couldn’t see the fuss, seem slow and small, Volvo know upgrade tbh the one I’m driving now is better than the new one, lacks a few goodies.

Really liked the Skoda but 4 g to hire a car just can’t bring myself to pay it…

Time running out, might just wave good bye and buy a run around aged Volvo or van..

Oh yeah didn’t manage to drive the x2 as they didn’t have one available on the x1 day even though on the magic phone, they said they did, so that’s that..
