a while ago i sat in a v3 formentor and to my suprise i found it very comfortable and with the seat adjustments i could get in and out easily. so as the v2 is 611 its stayed on my maybe list. i cant order until 28 feb and lease ends on 28 may so a while to go.

but having seen all the deals available on bigdaves thread if they are still around it makes it very attractive maybe bringing the v3 into play.

has anyone long term experience of them any issues known?

is there a reason for all the discounts and offers.

It won’t be as economical, being a bigger car or have the kit the Juke Tekna gets. Any common problems would be across the board i.e VW, Skoda & Seat and theres more screen input rather than physical buttons, if thats important.

yes economy compared to the hybrid isnt great just over 40mpg so about the same as i was getting with the countryman but as i lost my job the miles i do has halved. so brings into question should i even go with motability any more and just get a banger. the formentor does have some nice to haves, foot waggle auto tailgate and really nice seats even in the v2. the juke which is favourite at the moment does have the full winter pack, heated everything which is really nice when its like today i havent even left the house today its bloody cold.

i do like the design and looks of the cupra,, i will arrange a test drive at the end of feb at least then i will know for sure the prices expected. but with the offers being banded about i may just hold out and try for a stock car nearer may. as for the techy stuff they all have far too much for my liking but thats just me being a dinosaur.

One of my neighbours had the R version of this from brand new and had nothing but problems with it. Eventually he got rid.
