December 24, 2020 at 2:34 am #133175Currently neither Apple Carplay or Android Auto are very useful in an EV, but some of these apps are starting to appear
ABRP – not yet available, I think that ChargeMap is available on Apple Carplay but it’s only useful in the US
ZapMap – not yet available
Pod-Point – not yet available
Maybe one day google maps but currently “ev charging stations” misses most of them

Currently me and my family use ARBA Drivers Club. I would say this is really good especially in calculation of car expenses and forecasting.

April 10, 2022 at 5:58 pm #182419Totally with @mitch on this: phone off, no apps, owned only to be used in emergencies to summon aid or call for updates on ETA. Only “app” I would like to see in cars in one which turns all the pokey, feely touch-screen distractions into proper buttons, levers, dials etc.
February 26, 2025 at 2:48 pm #298420My new Ariya is due to be collected next week.
I have the Motability Go Charge app but I have also downloaded ABRP and ZapMap.
Do I need to be paying the £30 annual charge for ZapMap Premium and if I did what would be the benefits please?
