I had to have a look myself and you’re right! The MX-5, in both Roadster and ‘RF Coupé’, forms are priced at £3,999 regardless of trim level and gearbox options. There’s a total of 10 to choose from. A superb edition to the scheme, however, £3,999 for a sports car that’ll be updated sometime next year is rather steep. I would’ve preferred a wide range of AP for the car.

2017 Toyota CH-R 1.2T Dynamic CVT AWD - written off
2019 BMW X2 2.0L Sport

electrickeryThe mini convertibles are also available and slightly easier to get in and out of and can carry more I used to have a MX5 great car however the mini is more practical and the auto is awesome so I would suggest a rest drive as I did not like the mini at first but when I had a test drive I was sold feels much more solid and a very good price at the moment

paulim a war pensioner so works out lot cheaper for me if i can get in and out of it lol i have to say the coupe does look nice
October 1, 2023 at 3:13 pm #235689I had a late Mk3 MX-5 and fitted a BBR Rotrex supercharger. Sold it to my son for peanuts who added the stage 2 kit which added 50bhp taking it to 300bhp. Awsome machine 🙂
I’d love another one but sadly you can’t fit 3 people as need at least sensible family cars lol

DavidJust spoke to my local Mazda dealer.
Although at first he didn’t have a clue that it had came on to the scheme. They got the pricing through last night, and absolutely no sign of the Mazda MX5 or RF version on the pricing last night.
Although, he did acknowledge straight away that he could see it on the Motabilty site which I guided him towards.
He say’s typically the 100% choice available, and cost are normally confirmed within 48 hours, and come tomorrow, he might not even have to phone, as the system may well update overnight tonight, and confirm all things Motabilty.
I just want to check something with your good self. How have you managed to work out the RF version is available. Or which one.
If I was to guess though, and using possibly your own logic too, the RF which is typically more expensive than the Roadster, will be the exclusive line, not as fancy as the Homura, still a great spec though, and the roadster which is a cheaper car than the RF, will be the Homura version. Pretty sure when everything is confirmed tomorrow this will be the case.
Good things come to those who wait….. Try telling that to my 2 kids ever. Never gonnie happen. Cheers.
