      We’ve also been looking at the Q50R. Mrs Joe had a test drive and it’s really good.  You are getting the Sunrise Medical brand with that chair, which is probably the most respected wheelchair brand around. It climbs hills and pavements, it can also take a spare battery on board which increases range.

      If you shop around there are some better deals on it. There’s currently one on eBay for £1006 with best offers accepted. It says one year old but never used.

      If you work, Access to Work could help fund it if you’re working.

        Thanks, I’ve seen them on eBay , it’s still a a lot of money for someone’s word they’ve only been used a couple times.  It looks like the q50r might be the one to get though.  It’s just whether it’s worth the risk second hand or new

          Maybe consider a used one from a dealer, there are a couple of dealers selling them on eBay with warranties.
