Hi my husband is due a new car and we looked at a Honda we was told we could reserve so that we would get the car we wanted hubby signed so now we are being told we have signed the contract and car has been ordered we haven’t even taken in any paperwork is this correct

No.
You only sign when you collect the car you ordered. This involves entering a pin number sent to you from Mobility. You will get some paper work from Mobility to confirm your order.
However you can walk away at any time until you enter your PIN number.

Previous car:Peugeot 308 GT Premium 1.2 Pure tech Petrol.The dealer can’t place the order with Motability until you have taken your proof of eligibility and driving licence/s in as they form part of the application.
They can place the order on their system without completing the Motability application in order to get things moving but rarely do as it represents and increased risk of the customer changing their mind and them being stuck with a car and no customer lined up. If you’ve paid a deposit or for extras up front they may well be happy to order prior to application.
