Good Condition Bonus confusion

Can anyone clear up the confusion in my mind about the GCB, please?

In October we had news that we were to receive £350 in advance (and I did), and then we would receive the remainder (£250 for 3 years) (£550 for 5 years).

However, I just read the following in the latest Lifestyle magazine (p.57):

      “How much will I receive?

      It’s currently £250 for a three-year lease, or £350 for a five-year lease.”

Is it contradictory, or are these new changes? Are we to assume that the £350 that we have already been paid will not go towards these (possibly) new amounts?

I don’t know about the 5 year amount but its correct you will get another £250 when you return your current car to go with the £350 you already had making it up to £600 all told.

You will also get a new car payment that I think will be £700 but double check that as they keep moving the goal posts.

          Thanks @ChrisK

Yes, it seemed to be unaltered for 3-year lease, but for a 5-year lease (like mine), it looks like we are being short-changed by £200.

Is no one else on a 5-year lease, that is concerned about this £200 shortfall?

The Motability Lifestyle Magazine is published by a third party and they have been known to be incorrect on detail in the past.

              The Motability website still states:

£350 of your Good Condition Bonus to be paid early

Could be worth screen shotting the above whole page if needed in the future.

Or confirm directly with Motability on Monday by e-mail or online message and keep a hard copy.

Thank you @BigDave I hope you’re right! That would be welcoming news.

@Dave I just noticed on that page from the link you provided (further down on the page) that 5-year leases will be £350 if you  order your car after 1 October 2022.
