      Hi all,

Has anyone got or ordered the new Ford Kuga? If yes what’s it like? It’s one or the only large SUV which is automatic and suitable for under 25s.

@Djw38uk does your car engine/gearbox make a lot of noise when accelerating from rest ? i dont mean pedal to the metal, just normal driving.

My car 2.0 190ps AWD ST Line X Edition,it makes a irritating noise like a high pitched hammer drill when it it is going thru the early gears from rest.

Drivers seat is too small width ways bolster to bolster,i find the right side bolster presses into my right leg thigh, underneath.

              Sat Nav is really good.

No extras – just standard (but has heated seats/wheel, sunroof, B&O stereo as standard.

Mick – I don’t notice that noise at all, no. In fact I’ve driven a lot of 3.0l plus diesels and this sounds like a bigger engine than it is to me.

I’m not small and it is not the most comfortable car I have had but I don’t experience what you do with the drivers seat.

Interestingly, I cannot get on with the satnav. I use either Waze or the Tomtom app. I find the traffic on those much more accurate, along with road closures on the latter. Goes to show we are all different I guess!

@Djw38uk I’m looking at the spec, looks good apart from wanting £1100 for the Driver Assistance Pack to add bits that I would have hoped would be standard.

The ST Line X comes with pretty much everything you need. Heated front and rear seats. Front & rear parking sensors including rear camera. Heated steering wheel and the sunroof

OMC FORD ROCHDALE are the best Ford dealers,  this is my 3rd Motability car from them and i’m into my 12th month on a 20 plate 2.0 ST LINE X AUTO AWD and It’s been a great car, reliable, quick, roomy, no complaints

Do any of the owners of the Kuga AWD 190 hear a noise from beneath the steering wheel airbag area, like a cluck sound you can make with your tongue on the roof of your mouth,i get it randomly when i am turning the wheel from lock to lock, was told by a Ford tech that it could be from “motors” that are in that area,i thought that answer was bobar.

<p style=”text-align: left;”>Went to a couple of local dealers this weekend, neither had a Kuga to look at and both quoted 6+ months for delivery.</p>

Update on my order. Called in to showroom today car was built on the 16 th September but waiting at port in Spain. Still think it will be the 6 th of November when I will get it. I live in Northern Ireland so car probably has to go to uk port then get transferred to Northern Ireland so maybe that’s the problem with the time scale. Can’t wait
