First payment?

Hi there, will be picking up my shiny new Yaris Hybrid around the 9th of June.  My question is… I know I have to make the advance payment on the day, the thing is that my pip payment is due 5 days before I collect the car.  When will the first deduction from my pip be taken?  Will it just be the regular amount taken out of my next payment (4 x weekly mobility allowance) or will they also take the previous 3 weeks as well at the same time (effectively 7 x weekly mobility allowance)?

      Thanks! ??

You start paying for the car the day you enter your PIN into the dealers system the day you pick up your car.

My understanding is PIP is paid in arrears so your payment due the 5 days before you pick up your new car will be paid to you in full and the next months payment will go to Motability except the 5 days due to you before you collected the car.

I think I’ve got that right, if not I’m sure someone will be along to correct me.

Have fun in your new car.?

<p style=”text-align: right;”>I’ve just picked my car up and my first pip is due next week. I received a letter yesterday stating that if there’s an excess between the pip payment and when i picked up the car motability will notify me and i’ll have to pay the difference</p>

I’ve just done this, picked mine up on 14th my last “full” pip went in 13th. So first payment will leave my pip paid on 10th June.

Phew…..  I hadn’t thought of that until now. Using my next PIP payment for the ap and collecting the day after.?
