Enyaq delivery times

      Just wondering how long people waited for their Enyaq? Or if you are still waiting how long/any delays? We have been trying to decide between the Enyaq Sportline+ or the Renault Scenic Espirit Alpine. Our Skoda dealer has quoted 26 weeks whereas our Renault dealer has said we can have a Matte grey Scenic by August. Have seen some people cancelling their Enyaq orders so just looking for people’s views on their waiting times.

          I’ve just heard from my dealer and my car has left the factory. I’m very excited. How long are people’s experiences for leaving the factory to being at the dealer the UK? 🤔

            I was informed mine was finished being built on the 8th of July… I’m still waiting! Apparently my car is in the UK now but no idea how much longer.

              mine was build week 24 (19th June) and on 31st July I got an email that he left port in Germany. I expect to collect car on 28/8 thats 9weeks from build date

                The Schelde Highway which carries VAG vehicles has just been loaded in Emden. It’s due in Grimsby tomorrow, will probably do a few UK ports.

                  Wasn’t aware of that, seems the salesperson dealing with our query has been out of the office since last month so just sent the dealer an email asking about that, not really bothered about colour, spend more time inside the thing then staring at it !

                      Well tried Skoda Pulman Cramlington and just got completely fobbed off, not a single agent apologised for ignoring emails for over a month, still got no proper update on the car order that was placed on the 12th April other than it might be build week 43, and the cars on the Skoda stock checker are not available for mobility customers… Funny cause I’m pretty sure Mobility still pay for the car.

                        There are currently 2 car transporter ships waiting to dock at Sheerness, both of them came from Emden which is used by VAG, they’ll be offloading hundreds of Skoda’s. If you’re waiting for yours and it’s been built, it could be about to enter the UK. Ships are Danube Highway and RCC America.

                            I think you are looking at around a month. It’s not in their interest to keep cars sat in ports or at the factory, storage costs money and the want payment for the car.

                                Beginning to wish I went to the branch in Newcastle, especially after to speaking to another salesperson today who actually said the stock cars are for paying customers…

                                  What are you then chopped liver? Does motability pay in clubcard vouchers then? I hope you gave him a right gob full. I would make a complaint to the dealer principle and Motability for that little comment.

                                  Also think someones yanking your chain buddy unless you had certain options screwing things. Ordered my 85x in Black Magic no options 30th December been driving around in it several weeks now. I would be asking questions if yours came in and they sold it knowing they can flip the motability customer off.

                                    Exactly! Just had a webchat with Motability and they didn’t seem impressed at his comment but they were unable to check if orders had been unassigned and reassigned (suspicions of dealer getting cars and changing orders around to sell at retail), and just gave the spiel of it doesn’t matter when you ordered as someone could order a month after you and have a build time a lot sooner then yours, global shortage blah.

                                    Ah we’ll get it when we get it I guess.

                                      If you want a proper answer then kick it up to the chief execs team via email on the Marshall BMW thread that’ll get it looked at properly and one of their team will babysit it, otherwise just a waiting game.

                                      It is an amazing car I hated driving after the accident especially and wanted the wife to learn to take over as I just cba anymore. Too many idiots on the road, road rage etc (got chopped off by a BMW cutting across lanes on a roundabout, nearly hit me gave him a small toot nothing else and he then came over whilst charging tried to get me out of the car, threatened me, threatened to damage the car didn’t like it when I just laughed and said ho ahead I’ll get a new one lol basically says he does that to stop others getting near him and had police out statements etc just why?) but after driving this I’m really enjoying being in the car

                                        after long 7 months just got an email from my dealer that car is with them ! Car was build in week 25 (19th June) so about 8 weeks till reached uk.

                                          So I called Skoda directly on 03330037504 (it’s an automated/AI IVR thing so to get through to someone I had to say speak to someone, and then when it asked what about I said speak to someone again otherwise as soon as you mention car order or new car it gave an automated message and hung up).

                                          Guy I spoke to seem a bit worried about it all he asked for a few details confirmed the security stuff and then initially said the order was for a Kamiq, he sent me an email and I forwarded on the motability document which I got from signing into https://www.motability.co.uk/ and he called back to advise the order has been accepted by the factory and should be ready by mid/late October. He said something about is that ok (he mentioned previously about possibly escalating but at that point I was just happy to actually be told something with actual dates. He did ring the dealer though so would of loved to have been a fly on the wall during that phone call, still not a peep from the dealership despite the salesperson being back from annual leave and multiple messages said to have been passed on.

                                            Mine has arrived at the dealership, had a call this morning. Its the right car but looks to be missing the Advanced pack I ordered. Awaiting confirmation on whether its fitted or not!

                                            If it’s not theb there’s choices to make!

                                            They are also pushing for handover next week, I said I couldn’t do it due to a house move next week and want 1st week Sept which of course would be a 74 plate!

                                            Nothings ever straight forward is it!

                                              So, car has arrived with NO Advance Pack. Options are:

                                              1) Reject Car

                                              2) Accept Car & save 2k

                                              3)  order NEW car & wait again but higher AP unless it drops next Quarter!

                                              4)  Go for a different car !

                                                Why the heck should you have to pay a higher AP if they messed up the order?

                                                I’ve read in a few places the advance pack is just a waste anyway the subwoofer and sound system being a major let down, did you get any emails/confirmation of the initial order with the pack included?

                                                    If its their fault then THEY need to put it right that means they honour the AP you paid. Fact is they haven’t fulfilled the contract so contract is still in place tell them to provide what you ordered. No new order, no new AP. This is breach of contract. You know they’ve sold your car and replaced it with a stock one. I bet a retail customer demanded the advanced pack and quick delivery….

                                                    Email the CEO of Motability and get them on it. As far as I’m concerned this is their problem to fix not yours

                                                    If you haven’t input your pin then the order has not been fulfilled so they can get you what you ordered ontgat contract.

                                                    If you’re bothered and still want it then go to the CEO and get motability fighting your corner.

                                                      Which dealer was it? Had none of these issues with Audi, got a build date, build number, weekly videos with what was happening to the chassis and what process it was going through that week, was brilliant, can tell they really don’t care about customer service as we’re not retail…

                                                        I’d be inclined to keep it without the pack and save the £2k. Treat yourself to a couple of holidays or some new gadgets with the money you’ve saved. I’m sure @Phaedra added that pack, ask his opinion on it.
