those who have the i4 on order what wait times are you seeing?

also those who have received their car what do you find them really like?

heading over tomorrow to place an order for msport with the pro pack.
Been watching them for a while and now my order date is here I’m nervous lol

I ordered in October the Sport i4 and have expected delivery date of May 24.  Have just changed order to M Sport though, so not too sure on lead times for this now. I’d expect they’ll be around a similar timeframe due to the facelift coming at some stage this year.

Chat with the dealer this morning and she said April/may delivery but didn’t sound overly confident.

@lilcaz, was on the phone to bmw this morning, but they told me to wait for head of sales to call me in the afternoon. How hard/easy was it to change your spec from sport to msport? Did you have to go in? Was a whole new order raised? I heard that msport waiting times are shorter than sport but also nothing confirmed…

@Ryan I have changed my order via email – not yet confirmed if it will affect the build slot.  Dealer is sorting and is having to raise a new order with motab. I guess I will hear back today with the finer details.

keep us updated please, spoke to my dealer he said looking at july if ordering the m sport. initially ordered my sport sept 2nd due first week of march…he said if someone else changes theres and once he gets a better idea of wait times he will let me know

Placed order last Thursday. Looking at mid April for delivery apparently, went with portimao blue msport.

Ordered beginning of August 2023 delivery supposed to be March 2024 but i wouldn’t be surprised if its around April.

I ordered in July and on my order it said delivery November, but the car isn’t being built until week 4 (22nd Jan) It turned out the dealership had no build slots until August so I’d take what the dealership say with a pinch of salt and would only go by what BMW Genius say.

I’ve just been on live chat with BMW and my build went into 150 today, with an expected delivery of week 8 so when you allow the 5 days the dealership has to have the car for I should be perfect for the 1st March collection date. I know it makes no difference to me whether its a 73 or 24 plate, but 24 is my lucky number. I’ve just called my dealership and they gave me the VIN number.

Wow that’s great. What did you order sport or m sport ?

@Matt good to know when your car went to 150 status I believe once it turns this status u cant make any changes so this is approximately 6 weeks before its production date when the status changes.

@matt I can almost guarantee it’s going to be a 24 plate. The number plates are registered at the dealership, they’ve given you a 1st of march date specifically for this. Either way epic car, enjoy buddy ??
