Good Afternoon everyone,
i ordered my Mokka ultimate auto petrol back in jan 23 and when I looked at my online account with motability a few months back it had that date in jan that I submitted my application, anyhow I decided to log in this afternoon and when I looked at my application date today it said April 26th 2023 ! I am in a massive panic now as I’ve waited since January for the car and if there HAS been an error and it’s now saying that I applied in April this means my wait time will be longer still! Can someone tell me is this an error or is it common for them to change the dates for some weird reason but it will still be down in some other system as being January ? I will be livid if they’ve made a mistake and they’ve changed it to me applying for it in April ! Anyone have any ideas what I can do ? Who should I query it with ? Motability or the dealership ?

You should check it out with the dealership first to see what they say. Sometimes if dealership has used up its allocation of cars for that quarter, They will hold your order over to the next quarterwhen they get new allocation of cars.
Not a nice thing to happen, but it does. You need to challenge your dealship on this. Dependent on dealerships response, If no satisfactory, then get intouch with Motability.

Reason I ask is the April date is Q2 meaning the AP’s might of reduced!
Oh my word really ? I will call them tomorrow , the salesperson said to me in jan when he was sat in front of his PC he said ,,”that’s it all done you’ve been approved already just sit back and wait delivery “ I was shocked when I read this afternoon on my application April 23 submitted ? I will chase it up tomorrow thank you
Mine is the same, I ordered the Mokka 1.2 ultimate auto on the 27th September 2022. When I logged in on Motability recently the application date changed to say the 12th June 2023.
I went on the live chat with motability and they told me the car is showing as ordered on the 27th September and couldn’t explain to me why the date had changed.
As it turns out I still haven’t been given any updates from Vauxhall. I rang them a couple of weeks ago and they said there’s still no build date.
So frustrating, I’ve seen on a Facebook forum that someone else ordered the exact same car as me in October and are picking the car up this week.
No idea how they work these things out.
I was looking at a car at the dealers. They said the wait time depended on the colour. Some very popular colours took longer than others.
Other people have seen different delays depending on trim level, whether its an auto or manual.
But from other posts, it seems that Vauxhaul have the longest wait times of any manufacturer.
I wonder if you have changed anything since you ordered, not necessary anything to do with car but maybe adaptions ?
I say this as my order date changed when I decided I never wanted the hoist I ordered with my car. I ordered the car and hoist in October 2021 and told the dealer and Motability that I did not want the hoist as I made other arrangements.
My order date changed to the day I changed the order sometime in April 2022 but this had no effect on the delivery time of the car as they were unrelated.
Thanks for your reply’s , the AP was £299 in Jan and I think it changed to £0 in around April , as I remember phoning and having a winge about it , however as for adaptations ,,nope I’ve not changed anything in fact I’ve asked for no adaptations just the car as it is in silver colour ! I will call tomorrow though I’m going to be gunning for them , I just wish I’d gone for the vitara now, it was guaranteed 12 weeks wait and they threw in a tank of petrol , my local Vauxhall in north wales give you nothing in fact you have to pay £20 to them for the petrol they put in to get you home !
Vauxhall literally just rang me and told me that the car is built and is in Poissy, France awaiting transportation to the UK.
Anyone know how long this takes roughly?

@Rhiload You know you can cancel you Mokka order at anytime until you enter your PIN. So if you want to go with the Vitara, just cancel your order with Vauxhall and place order with Suzuki.

Mines in silver and after I emailed my dealership a rather stern email I’ve miraculously had an email back saying my due delivery date of the 14th of August this year !
I wont hold my breath but I’m chuffed if it’s true !

Mine is still in Dagenham waiting transport since the 10th of June.
Fingers crossed for you Rhiload, I hope they keep their word! To be fair they never gave me a date so I can’t tell you if they have a habit of making changes. They never actually gave me much information until this morning. Even then he couldn’t give me a date.

He said it gets transported from Poissy to Bristol and the from Bristol to them in Fareham, Hampshire where I will get it from. Im guessing Bristol is some sort of processing hub I’m not sure. He couldn’t give me a date but said it shouldn’t be long now.
