In spring 2020, as the first lockdown started to ease, we were able to share savings from a lower level of insurance claims by sending £50 to all our customers. We are pleased to say that, following a similar reduction in claims during further lockdowns, we will send another insurance-based refund of £50 to customers who joined the Scheme before 4 January 2021.

If you have a Motability Scheme online account you can request to have the money transferred directly to your bank account. You can do this by logging into your account and navigating to the ‘personal details’ area and following the onscreen instructions to provide your bank details.

If you would like to receive the insurance payment directly into your bank account, please add your bank details to your online account by 11 June 2021 as  we will start making the online payment to eligible customers from 15 June 2021. Once we have completed the online payments, we will then begin issuing the refund to remaining eligible customers by cheque. Please note, we are only able to make the payment by bank transfer through the Motability Scheme online account.

So cheque by the end of July I guess, I tried the online thing, assured it would be sorted via email contact, however mine simply wasn’t..?

Never mind it seemed to work for most, just not for some..?

Shame really as cheques for some can be a pain in the @ r$ €..

All my money goes in the pot so God knows where it all goes ? but like Gary the money will help towards the AP on my next order end of next month.

Nothing exciting, it’ll cover the £46.20 of petrol I put in last week, but not the £21 I had to put in yesterday to fill up before our monthly 120 mile round trip tomorrow.

I was going to rely on the trip counter to get my fuel range but the Ateca decided to reset it back to 0.0 when I got in the car last night 🙁

It’s the 5th time it’s done this in the last 3-4 months, also changes the various display options I had set and the time back to 00:00, apparently it’s quite a common problem but nobody knows why.

It’s done after the car was left overnight, for a couple of days and even when I was out of the car for a whole 45mins!  There’s no pattern to it, others on the Seat forum have reported the same issue. https://www.atecaforums.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=3790
