@kdwolf Understood. Put another way, when my daughter was at Uni, having a car would have been a liability. Very little student accommodation has parking, let alone charging facilities. Locations with high student populations tend to have good public transport facilities to facilitate their movement to / from campus and city centres etc. My daughter was several hundred miles away and I used to take her at the start of term and go and collect her at the end of term. You have the added benefit of it only being 35 miles away. If they already have a car at home I’d leave it there and save the money! Just my thoughts having been down this road in the past.
