It depends on your disability I suppose. I don’t need a powered tailgate, I don’t have a clue to be honest how many disabled not buying a WAV need a powered tailgate. Ive just checked the spec and the car is well specked with other things disabled would find useful, heated seats, heated steering wheel, power fold and heated door mirrors, rear view camera adaptive cruise control, adaptive lights. I need a powered tailgate (height challenged with dislocating shoulders), I am finally, on my third Motability vehicle, getting one. I got round it by just putting things in the back seat and/or leaving the use of the boot to other people…begger, just realised I won’t be able to use that excuse when the new car arrives!
