Actually, after the last few replies here, i could see a way where this could happen.
It’s incredibly stupid and only applicable to Nissan (and even there, potentially only certain models) – but remember that, on the scheme, we sometimes get specs with added options?
As hard as i’m trying, i can’t remember a specific example right now – but every now and then we get a spec in the search that has [Bose Pack] for example in the name. Like (just checked) the Yaris GR at the moment, which can be had as “TOYOTA YARIS HATCHBACK 1.5 HYBRID GR SPORT 5DR CVT [CITY PACK]”.
If the “article number” (for lack of knowledge of the correct term) changes with a certain option pack within Nissans system, then that’s how this could happen. It’s stupid, and has nothing to do with us not being able to order options – but that’s one way this could happen. The reason as to why you might be able to get a stock car with those added options could simply be that this is a very recent change in Nissans system, and that the already built cars didn’t fall under those “article number changes”.
All assumption of course, but really dumb either way.
