I forgot to add. A vehicle cannot be de-register a vehicle if incorrect specification ordered/delivered which in this case that rule shall apply because the specification of the vehicle ordered was not delivered using the V996.
This is all hypothetical as we don’t know at what stage the op canceled. My brother canceled a BMW 3 series 4 years ago mainly because of the colour. The car got re-registered into the dealers name and sold as an ex demo.
