I was in the same boat as you with my car, except someone hit me while I was parked and away from the car. Told Motability and they said it doesn’t need repairing but I said I’d rather have it done (dint in the rear quarter and major scratch and scuffs). They agreed and I paid the excess of £100. They sent out a body repair company that did it at the house (in the carpark at the back actually). Took him a couple of hours and I swear, you’d never know it was damaged, absolutely amazing work.
I glad I got it done in the end, I like to hand the cars back in good condition. Had I not been nearing the end of the lease though, I might have left it.
