Don’t forget though we get no concession for duty paid at the pump for petrol and diesel so don’t expect any per mile charges for the disabled to get any exceptions but I guess the various tolls around the country for ferry, bridges and motorways to remain the same as a car is a car no matter how its wheels are driven.
In the scheme of things I think the cost will not be much different to what we pay now for fossil cars except EV’s will be included but what would worry me is where and how are they going to set the per mile cost, would it be the average cost of fossil fuel cars duty, the value of the car or just pluck a sum out of thin air and convince us its fair.
As for the Liberty Global and their clever people I can assure you there only interested is in profit for the least amount of layout but is a good omen for the future.
