I had the same experience with deliveries. Sainsbury’s redirected me to the click and collect service. Apparently they’ve massively increased this to help the vulnerable. I checked where my local store for Click and Collect is in Northern Ireland: there is only one in the entire country and it’s at the opposite end of the country from me, a matter of a two-hour drive over almost 100 miles of mostly country roads.
