January 11, 2025 at 5:18 pm #296048@kezo, it’s a well known BMW/Audi/Mercedes/Land Rover joke that they obviously don’t have indicators as the drivers don’t use them.
Please excuse spelling/typos. Apart from being a clot it turns out I had one on my cerebellum that's now causing various problems!

Sometime’s I take things serious and end up feeling like a first class dick, feeling the need to crawl into a corner for a month or so 🤣
January 11, 2025 at 7:10 pm #296050Hi Mikey,
How are you getting on with it? Any regrets? I’m can’t decide between the i4 and the refreshed EV6.
Did you add any options and if so did you manage to get any discounts from the dealer?

January 11, 2025 at 8:09 pm #296054Hi, no regrets at all, best car I’ve had, total electric convert. It came with tech pack, love the heads up display. This last week the range has been hit hard by the sub zero temps, I don’t do a great amount of miles in one run but I’d say it woulda been about 160miles max range.
love how smooth it is, suspension is amazing over the potholes, steering is incredibly light , it’s the biggest car I’ve driven but it doesn’t feel it from the inside somehow. Acceleration is really good too, can’t help but floor it every now and again. My biggest downside is when you get over 70 (which obviously I never do) if the road isn’t mirror flat the back end can feel a bit bouncy, I think it’s the air suspension and not having the adaptive suspension option but honestly I love the car, will be sad when it has to go back.
it was £4999 when I got it, minus the £750 payment for the sport trim with tech pack. No regrets, everyone that has been in it has been impressed by it
January 11, 2025 at 8:10 pm #296055Oh yeah I got tinted rear windows, they didn’t give me any discount and I did ask, I felt hard done by that I must admit, always got about 20percent previously

With regards to the suspension its not too late to have the ‘Adaptive M Suspension’ added. Much to my surprise (i thought it musty be a hardware change) its actually available via an over the air software update from the BMW connected store – https://www.bmw.co.uk/en/shop/ls/cp/connected-drive
You can try it out for a month (£18) or £280 for 3 years.
There are several other updates available too.
My local dealers aren’t budging on the discounts for options unfortunately. I’m desperately searching for a dealer that will offer something!
January 12, 2025 at 9:39 am #296069Oh I did not know that thanks, as I say it’s really only noticeable at speed , I might give it a try though see if it makes any difference (oh just looked, not available on my model, maybe because its a sport and not M sport)
the new ev6 looks decent, have you looked at the new cupra models that recently went on the list too? I looked at the formentor and born but found the interiors a bit youthful for me lol had a been twenty years younger…. All those orange accents lol
January 12, 2025 at 2:27 pm #296084I don’t know how you can get in and out of that, they are so low.
January 12, 2025 at 3:12 pm #296085Bit of a short arse here, I really struggle with suv s , find the high sills impossible to get my foot high enough to get it over and even perching on the edge of the seat and swinging both legs in is a struggle and this was less than an inch lower seat position than my last car, merc A class and it doesn’t have huge wide sills which is another issue I have straddling them
February 5, 2025 at 9:09 pm #297123Hi All,
By way of update I decided to order the i4 a couple of weeks ago. Car goes into production next week and delivery to dealer is w/c 10th March. Can’t believe how quick it is!
I added a few bells and whistles which added a fair chunk to the AP but my car allowance form my employer more than covers the AP and the additional options over the 3 years.
Just hope I’ve made the right decision!
