      Hello everyone,

I’m currently driving an Audi Q3 and finding it quite challenging to fit two car seats and an adult in the rear seat, which is why I’m looking to change my car.

Could anyone recommend a car on the scheme that has ample rear seat space to comfortably accommodate two car seats and an adult ?
Any suggestions or experiences would be greatly appreciated.

If you’re okay with EVs I’d recommend the Nissan Ariya or the Audi q4, we too drive a q3 and need a bigger car for our next. My mums got an Ariya and it’s a great car, space, tech, drive ticks all the boxes. As for the q4 we are waiting for the next quarter to see if prices drop and hope the coupe s line comes on

The 2025 Hyundai Tucson has a one of the best rear space for its segmant.

EV wise, Iomiq 5 is huge inside.

Citroen c5 has 3 separate rear seats. I’m an EV fan myself and there is some spacious ones, but coming from someone with two disabled kids, and needing room in the back for 3 as well I can say that nothing fitted us as well as the citroen did at the time

Thanks so much for your suggestion! Just to clarify, are you referring to the Citroen C5X or the C5 Aircross?

                  Width excluing mirrors.

                  Ioniq 5 1890mm

                  I0niq 6 1880mm

                  Tucson 1865mm

                  Ariya 1850mm

Car measurements can be weird sometimes (eg boot space sometimes cars have less but more if that makes sense)

I test drove the ioniq 5 found it to be decent at the back, it also felt lower which is preferred by some

i just had the Tucson on holiday for 10 days and imo the Ariya has way more space in the back

I’ve sat in an ioniq 6 driver seat but not back

                      <p style=”text-align: right;”>The C5 aircross, decent boot space too. Width 1969mm</p>

Due to the bodywork shape of the Tucson I’d agree the Ariya will have more space in the rear!

                        @Shaun
suggestion of the C5 Aircross maybe the best solution, as they have 3 full size seats in the rear I beleive.

However I’d lok at all of them as the Ioniq’s especially the 6 have thin door cards, which suggests space.

I’d be willing to measure the rear seats in my Tucson if that helps perhaps @Shaun & @TheSUVguy could do the same?
