I requested a PDF copy of the V5 document from Motability which I’ve been told will take around five working days. However, it’s been much longer than that and I still haven’t received anything.

Before I get on to them (which for me is a major headache), has anyone else waited more than the five days to receive theirs via email?

For context, I require this for a special parking permit. The jobsworth will only accept a copy of the V5.

I had the same, waited a couple of weeks then applied again, got it a few days later.

Just out of interest how do you apply for a copy, is it through the online account ?

Yes, also it’s not a copy of the v5 it’s a form with similar information.

I phone them and had a copy in my mailbox within the hour. If its for a private plate they will give you the reference number via email, again I got this withing the hour

It’s odd reading this thread because I had the same when I put the request in for my V5 with them totally ignoring me but sending another form a few weeks later I got the V5 PDF by return the next day.

I contacted them again and had it within the hour. I think they are busy and its pot luck if someone is available to process it.
