If you have a card reader and a pc or laptop. Use the card reader to copy the files on to the pc. The recording you want may be in the protected folder, or indeed another folder.

The Nextbase app is not the best.

Depending on your circumstances you may be able to claim Pension Credits? If your pension is low it tops it up. You do have to claim it on dwp website.

I’ve never had a timeslot service…ever. It is usually drop the car off at 9.00 pick up the courtesy car and get the car back at 5.00pm. Even when I had a private car, used to drop it off first thing to get repaired/ serviced/ MOT’d.. No timeslots nowaday.

Thanks for the reply but to say “No timeslots nowaday” just goes to show how misguided you are. As has been pointed out in another reply, Renault and a number of other dealerships do operate on a time slot basis. Also, I very much doubt if there are any such things as “courtesy cars” available any more. You do have to pay.

I only stated my experience with 3 different dealers, no need to go off on one. But courtesy  cars or hire cars are the norm for us and never had to pay for one either.

I.ve never had a problem with bluelink.  A couple if times its not been able to connect, but later on its fine. Never had to do any resets.  Not had problems with menus disappearing  either. As suggested, voice activation works fine. Its satnav is useless, I connect the phone and use Googlemaps or Waze.

Normal keyfobs nay last a few years.

But these ones that wale the car up as you approach may not last as long.

Book the car in to the garage, but use the spare key in the meantime.

The last service/update (not skida), they gave me the option of replacing wipers and keyfob batteries

Just checked my private plate, and it doesnt come up, neither did my original plate.

My private plate had the wrong sequence apparently, so that is how there was no positive..

Its from 1979. 3 letters, 3 numbers and they year letter at the end.

Using a coiled extension lead for something that draws a heavy current is asking for trouble. Usually the appliance goes on fire. That is user error

If its blowing your sockets, its your electrics at fault and probably not the charger.

Given you are paying for a car that breaks down and unresponsive, leaving you stranded, it is a faulty car.

Complain about the faults and how you do not feel safe when it dies.  The way the scheme works is not renewing a faulty vehicle, but ending the lease.

A few people have reported similar problems with the ex30, it is a lottery id you get a good one or a bad one.  Probably wiser to look at another car, rather than the ex30.

Nothing to do with eggs or baskets.

About a decade ago, China,s  mega cities were choking on smog.

Literally overnight, they pushed EV,s and taxed gas cars. You could not get a numberplate for a gas car.

                            It worked.

                            No more pollution or smog.

A side effect is they became the world leader in ev cars.

Just pay the £90 and forget about it. Its my go to for travelling. Only once I have seen all stalls filled, but wait 10 mins an one becomes free.

Quickest charger I had was Tebay Northbound, chucking the power in a at 200w.

Ohme still not  showing  cost of charge, even with re-instaling the app.

Just have to give it a while.

Can’t say it’s not fit for purpose. Looking at cars from NIL to 500, there are frontiera, capri, dacia spring, peuguot 2008, Kona, Nero, Ford Explorer. All very good cars. Mobility is a lifeline, it’s not a trifling organisation.

With Ford you miss out on HUD, Active Park Assist, 360-Degree Parking Camera and Hands-free Power-operated Tailgate, with the latter two being top of list for disabled drivers.

What did the customers do for the past 20-30 years without HUD, power tailgate (mobility screwed a strop to the tailgate). No 360 deg or parking cameras??? They got on with it.

Playing devil’s advocate here, as all of the above items are not a luxury, but a huge increase in safety. They really should standard on every vehicle. But these are nearly obsolete with the level 4 Chinese self driving cars coming on stream.

But still, there is a good choice of entry level cars at nil to low AP.

because of medical, cannot get insurance at all. They just stop the form and say “we cant insure you”.

But still do the holiday in Europe, Spain, Greece, Italy. Just use the EHIC card, you get medical attention if required.
