Yes trev I gave him a grand.will the mondeo be back next pricelist in July.thanks for the advice.this site has been so helpful, cheers for news on the mondeo.
I’m not happy at all trev, but I’ve got options on as well so this is now going to turn into one big headache.ive been with Ford for the past 16 years,so this was not an easy decision.i normally go with the mondo estate but it’s been taken off the scheme and the focus isn’t big enough to fit two wheelchairs and toddler lol.but will Motability back me up on this or will I be pushed into taken it.but on the other hand the car is not on the forecourt and he has no control how long it would take to get in the Uk.so if there is any delays what would happen if it turned up as the facelift is released.so do I cancel or refuse to give my pin.what would you do trev?
Hi,everyone.not been on here to reply to everyone.ive had a terrible flu.ive sent off my appeal.if they do reduce my points i will still get standard rate.my wife is in a wheelchair too and they did the same to her with the minus 1 point,in fact we compared our award decisions and they were almost word for word so it just proves they just want to make it difficult.i understand Motability’s point with appeal i just don’t understand why if you get awarded motability why is it has to be combined decision.it now looks like after every car lease there will be a pip assessments.ive never had any problems being on motability until now.we all have medical and physical disability’s and this completely unacceptable and for motability then saying i can’t renew my car or contract was devastating news for my family.my 4 year old has life threatening respiratory issues.so sometimes I’m off to the hospital early hours in the morning.as my wife is disabled, motability suggested we just keep swapping car leases but to be honest it just will get too confusing and we don’t want 2 cars at once.im out of work due to health issues but I’m seriously considering buying a second hand car within the budget of what your allowed to have saved.which is not the best idea for reliability but at least it will be always on my drive.but i think motability need a new plan for the future to keep everyone feeling secure as they advertise.thanks for listening but I think we all need to speak up and be heard and I wish you all well and hope we get change for the future.
just an update, got in touch with mazda today and they will not be adding the mazda 6 tourer auto next Q4.
Hi Micky,I’ve been with Ford for about 14 years now and really want to stick with them, all this news of mondeo being scrapped is making think about going else where.i have the mondeo 240 titanium and it goes through fuel.23-26 mpg what is your st line diesel like with mpg.
i ordered a ford mondeo, and the ap dropped by £500.motabilty told me a deposit is a deposit.this happened to me once before where a £1300 ap was reduced to nil so this time i was not going to let this happen again.the only reason motability let me have it at the reduced ap was because i said i would cancel the car and come off motability.they just said this a one off and it won’t be done again.
September 1, 2018 at 11:24 am in reply to: Good Condition Payments are Increasing to £500+ from 20th Sept #59624this excellent news,im going through pip assessment and can not order a car till they have sent me there decision but as a permanent wheelchair user I’m not doubting the they will take me off mobility but they will probably try to reduce my care rate.so £500 is a huge help.now i can get that remote boot option and some towards the deposit.
so glad i seen this post.due a new car very soon and never new about these hand controls.the pictures were very helpful.
