Whenever you google ppf/gpf issues it only ever seems to bring results for the Kia Sportage and Hyundai Tuscon and in vast abundance too. This is due to an inherent design flaw as no petrol car should require long motorway journeys like a Diesel DPF. Presumably this is why Kia are releasing an updated model soon. Mine clogs every few weeks and has been a complete and utter nightmare to deal with.

It’s unfortunate as it is an amazing car in all other respects.

My Sportage gpf light came back on for a third time, literally weeks after a complete forced regen. After speaking to Kia and explaining that I had neither time nor inclination for regular pointless motorway journeys in which I have to drive the car in a particular (and frankly dangerous) way I was told to contact motability and ask to change car. Thankfully motability were amazing so I am back to looking at endless car reviews to find something suitable.

The Sportage has been something of a nightmare due to this gpf exhaust issue.

The gov certainly did not “start allowing autism onto PIP”, autistic people have always been eligible for support and quite rightly so! PIP covers how a disability affects a person, it has nothing to do with the diagnosis.

It’s outrageous when some disabled people feel they are more entitled to support than others.

The problem is that the tories have cut so many nhs services that people cannot access treatment quick enough to avoid ending up on PIP in the first place.

@markymate I test drove the 48V and was surprised with it responsiveness being as its a 150 like my current Kuga.

When you say surprised at the responsiveness of the 48v, is that pleasantly or unpleasantly surprised? Often wondered what the performance of the 48v was like.

After seeing this thread I chased up my order to be told that the model I ordered, the GT 1.6 petrol, would be from “June onwards”.

Bit of a leap from what I was told when I placed the order but will just have to wait. This will be my first motability car so will be stuck with my beat up old Honda for a while sadly ?

Ordered the same as you, Micky. 12th of January ordered, Motability man said 16 to 18 weeks, but 22 weeks seems to the delivery time going by the KIA owners forum at the moment. Worth the wait in my opinion.

I ordered the GT Line 1.6 48v mild hybrid at the beginning of February and was told that the wait would be only 9 weeks.  There does seem to be a lot of conflicting information about in this regard.
