Just a quick question.
I have had my e-3008 for the last 9 months I didn’t get the wall box as I had bought a house off plan,(moving in Thursday) it comes with a pod point home charger, I’m having issues trying to find a tariff as none seem to take either car or charger or both.
Does anyone else have a Peugeot and a pod point home charger ? And who do you use as an electric provider
Using the turn on aircon button today before I get in to cool the car down, how did I manage before 😂😎😂
As a quick update on the app, you will have to “purchase” the door opening, Tom Tom and other stuff like climate control from the car section in the app, these are all free, but you will need to make sure that both phone and car are set up to share data with each other, and then multiple 20 min drives with 5 mins locked in between, for the app to install them, I guess the 20min thing is a safety feature to stop anyone just registering your car, it took 2 to 3 days for it all to start working on the app
Only the standard 11kw charging cable, I’m going back to the dealership tomorrow to pick up the in laws car after a service , so I will ask about V2L, I think they will happily sell you a granny charger tho, probably twice the price of anywhere else.
I also bought a cable case, a ring automotive case from Amazon, it’s roundish for £13. Got to make sure those billionaires can f@#k off in their rockets. But well worth it, the charger cable fits nicely into the boot
I’m getting 4.7kw usage, but I’m driving around in eco, I have got exactly the miles range that car said I would get, I have driven about 125 miles so far, all different roads from motorways to country lanes. The ride is fantastic, glides on the motorway, and deals with speed bumps and country lanes very well imo, watched plenty of reviews a high percentage of them from the launch from last year. A few bashed it for it’s handling and suspension, it’s not the same set up now, peugout listened and obviously tweeked it. I took it to the local tesla supercharger this morning just to see how easy it would be to charge, in 30 mins went from 68% to 90% and it cost me just under £4, it was early and I have membership price but 125 miles in my petrol car at best would cost me £12 so £8 cheaper, plus I walked the dog whilst it was charging so i didn’t do anything different in the time it took to charge. Wheelchair fits in the boot without having to take off wheels and with the parcel shelf still on, admittedly I took out the adjustable floor, and that’s now in the loft, but not many cars left now that you can leave the parcel shelf and put a ridged chair in, so a massive tick from me
Randomly and by chance we did see a gt spec in a garage in france in April, it was doing the press rounds, they let me sit in it and have good look around, I had just placed an order for an enyaq, but when we came home I canceled and ordered a gt. The interior is far superior than the skoda
I noticed that my local dealer is “manufacture” owned and not independent. They are just about to move into a massive all in one stelansis garage in July, so will go back then and ask about my car. I’m away till 1st week in July anyway. I do a fair few miles a year anyway should putting more miles on my old car instead of a new one isn’t an issue for me
Anyone have any updates on lead times? I ordered mine 1st week in May, and dealer said about 12 to 13 weeks. But if you configure on peugeot site it said expect Nov/Dec
