From going by the press release it will be I. 2023 limited to Tesla customers only either Tesla vehicle and/or Powerwall system and they will offer a symmetrical tariff, which the did in the past via Octopus.
I would contact Motability and ask to discuss a termination under mechanical issues that have not been resolved as the others said
I know you said Motability are aware due to the hire car, but the hire car side is managed by the RAC. So Motability might not actually be aware
have a conversation with them I’m sure they will agree night time has passed to allow a change of vehicle

I think what is likely that the it’s a unit that will cost more to run than it actually saves in genuine misuse/fraud.

The batteries with the faulty cells were manufactures for the USA assembly vehicles with NACS ports.
Thats why if you check the UK and more importantly the German website with you VIN you’ll see no recall or service action exists.
