Well, you are in for a real treat 🙂 I had a 2021 Grandland X on hire for a couple of weeks in 2021, it was one month old, it was the most depressing, underwhelming car I have ever driven, I could not wait to get back into my old repaired car asap.

We have just taken delivery this week of  2023 facelift HS 1.5 petrol SE, I cannot sing its praises highly enough, it is brilliant and appears to be pretty near excellent build quality but the driving experience with that 7 speed DSG gearbox is incredible, just brilliant, if people can put aside the badge snobbery and China opinions and just go and test drive one they are really hard to beat and the proposition at the moment on mobility is superb. I had to go for the SE as that was all that was in local stock and we needed something very quickly so if you can get one go for the Trophy spec, the SE is well equipped enough but the Trophy, it literally has everything and at the moment an auto Trophy costs next to nothing AP wise, £100 quidish by the time the £750 has come off.

Good luck, I think a HS will impress you, let us know 🙂

WOW really lol? Madness, never had the chance to buy a new car before so this motability experience was interesting, I never realised car manufacturers had turned into budget airlines lol, would you like a key for the car sir? £500! Spare wheel? £800! Tyre for the wheel sir? £600! Oh and the best one, yes sir, you can have it in any colour you wish as long as it is white, the other colours are 5 million pounds more!

I digress lol, think I might see if I can pick up a space saver or something, there is room for a full sized flippin alloy in the wheel well that contains well, nothing, oh a safety triangle!

Hey thanks for the reply 🙂

Shame the dealer cannot do them, no biggie I suppose, it is in the next door town, we do go sometimes so booking it in would work ok, what about punctures and stuff though or if the tyre is totally dead and sludge will not work what happens then?
