1.5 mini 3dr cooper auto 7 i am averageing 40+ and thats mostly bimbling local with a trip down the motorway once a fortnight.

The most economical BMW automatic on the scheme is almost certainly the new 1 series.
Diesel does around 60 mpg and the petrol around 47 mpg.

Although no longer on the scheme I recorded 71 mpg from my golf gtd travelling from Largs to wemyss bay in Scotland and can achieve 55-60 on motorway journeys.
