I’m do to order new car from 14th of Jan 2022 at what point do you get the letter to say you can reorder?

There or thereabouts, I think mine came a few days before “order” date. However, you don’t need the letter to place an order.

Nothing but a letter from the DWP showing that you have at least a year (or thereabouts, can’t remember 100%) left on your PIP, and the usual stuff like driving license etc.

As was said, you don’t need a Motability letter (we ordered 6 weeks ago after an early termination on our current car, done via phone – ordered new one next day with nothing from motability).

Login into your mobility account online and it will show you exact date you can pick a car usually 3 months before the end of contract.

You can if you wish also give your bank details to mobility online if you wish to be first in line to receive this yrs.
