I am getting about 60Mbps on my WiFi, paying for 80!

And about 130Mbps via 4G. I find that amazing!!

          Wifi 68mbs, I’m with Sky.

4g 30mbs or 48mbs near the bay window, Plusnet mobile (EE).

WiFi via Asus Mesh Router and BT modem. Internet by Cloudscape Connect.

4G iPhone 8plus. Mobile by EE.

Cloudscape isn’t particularly cheap, but if price is an indicator of quality . . .

My landline must have been upgraded to fibre, just used this ofcom checker and it says I can get 1000mbs.

Scrub that, it’s Virgin that offer the 1000mbs via cable, not landline.

What are you getting using cat5e cable from your router-laptop. I would reckon  you would be getting close if not more to what you ISP has told you will get (80)

Your hardware on your devices will come into play, just as much as obstacles over Wifi.

I treated myself to a Wifi 6 (802.11ax) laptop, my wifi is somewhat faster off an older isp provided wifi 802.11ac router than my old laptop was but, it is still bottle necked. When I get round to installing my own  wifi 6 router, wifi will be alot faster using my wifi 6 laptop.

I’m with virgin, I could pay for faster but this is good for now. Also Mesh router, transformative.

4g offers upto around 100Mbps real world download speeds upto 12Mbps peak $mbs and upload speeds of around 12Mbps.

I can remember EE boosting 4g LTE speeds to around that quoted by the op, some years ago. From memory it was 110-120Mpps
