I placed an order for my new Tiguan and paid the deposit in July. I am now being told the VW head office pulled the Tiguan off of the scheme in July and despite the car being on order they will not honour it through Motability.
Motability have tried to help but it is VW that are not helping.
My VW dealer if being really helpful and has said they will keep hold of the the new Tiguan for me just in case it goes back onto the scheme in October but I am totally gutted.
How can they do that!!

That’s terrible Sukib and I feel for you. I wonder if others who have Tiguans on order will have the same problem? It always used to be the case that once you had placed an order and it had been accepted, it didn’t matter what happened afterwards. If the car was removed from the scheme your order was still honoured. I hope that things aren’t changing!

I suspect that it is covered in the Small print. Nevertheless frustrating and annoying but hopefully not a sign of things to come.
