TheSUVGuyJust seen a few “leaks” of the new Tiguan coupe, a verified German page has written about it, if it’s real, what do you guys think?

I don’t dislike it. It looks quite X6’ish at the back but definite Tiguan at the front.
There’s a lot of artists renditions about at the moment of new models. I was looking at some images today of the X1 with its next mid life update. I thought it looked pretty good until I read waaay down the page that it was actually a rendition from some media outlet of how they THINK it will look.
Could this be the same?? I will be remembered for nothing but had great fun doing it ?

Matt BA side note: found out from dealership that although Tiguan is due a revamp in the near future, the Allspace will be staying the same for the time being.

ThargCoupe? Hmm. Give it two doors and it might then be a coupe. And a damn good-looking one at that! Will also make it appeal to me a bit more because two-door bodies are much easier to enter/exit.

LandymanGot to admit I’m struggling to find anything good to say about it.
October 12, 2020 at 10:14 am #126639Well I like it. I stand by my earlier comment in that it looka like an X4/X6 but I like them as well. And the first one shown in the video is a similar colour to the old M3’s Phoenix Yellow. I really didn’t like that colour when it was new but now, I love it.
I’m sure it’ll be a marmite car but it’s a thumbs up for me.
Fingers crossed we see it in the UK and also on here. ?(Only available in China at the moment)? I will be remembered for nothing but had great fun doing it ?
October 12, 2020 at 12:08 pm #126646Seating in the back for the vertically challenged and an even smaller boot, what a winner.

Now you know why it’s only available to the Chinese market 😉
October 12, 2020 at 2:31 pm #126664Yuck that such an mess and absolutely pointless.
October 12, 2020 at 8:50 pm #126707I like it but needs an engine with a bit of power to make it worthwhile.
But if you need a large boot it is a waste of time.

ThargI agree with all the opinions about practicality and useability, small boot, headroom etc. But it does LOOK really good. Purely as a piece of design it looks balanced and well proportioned. Would definitely need a capable engine. The VAG 2.0L with 200-ish bhp would do nicely, thank you. And the 4×4 drivetrain.

TheSUVGuyPersonally I think it looks good, of course the normal version is more practical but I like the different designed seats / rear, I’m surprised to see it’s the new face lifted version too, you can tell from the wheel / bonet, but then again it’s got the old gear selector? Anyway, I’d love for it to be on the scheme, gives everyone more options which is great for most
