Feeling a bit emoshe this afternoon and this part of the forum acts as a form of therapy for me…so thankyou all. Most of the time I clown around (I really like to make people grin) but that’s a kind of wall I put up, partly because there’s some things I can’t bare to think about and partly because I want people to know ( that at least inside) I am absolutely no different to anyone else.
I work for ssafa ( it’s an armed forces charity) as a mentor. Many moons ago I was in the army until an unfortunate event abroad which resulted in me losing my left leg above the knee, having 75% of my left lung removed as well as some other “non essential” parts removed .After being g flown back to the qe in Birmingham my wife was brought to the hospital. She stayed with me day and night for 3 months.Never leaving always there. She was strong when I was not, she was funny when I was miserable, she was my strength when I was weak and she was everything when I was nothing.
During my recovery she was feisty! ( I used to be 6ft2 16 stone no flab (Mrs wheezy is 5ft 2 and 8 stone wringing wet) God that woman used to put the fear of christ up me lol ?
She’s been with me every day all the time she helps me guides me and many times has stopped me from being a complete knob. I love her more than I could ever accurately express. I owe you everything Mrs w so thankyou that’s all I can say
So In summary to all u who read this your partner whoever they are is special and should be respected loved and cherished
