Anything i post over three lines long please assume it is an article lol.It’s sad that there will be a scramble to offload ice making factories pre the 2030 electrification. They will need to update their infrastructure to produce EVs or close.
I take it they want the UK Government to subsidies the foreign obsolete ICE company ?
Unfortunately I have suffered a brain injury and occasionally I get confused and often say the wrong thing.
Problem is, nearly all of our car manufacturing is foreign owned. Building our own batteries, securing a supply of rare earth minerals, lithium, cobalt etc will be critical as there is no where near enough production to replace ice cars. The Jaguar iPace is built in Austria, the big Disco in Slovenia and the Countryman has gone too. Honda shuts soon and the Civic goes to Japan because the EU removed tariffs. Thanks a bunch.
