I’ll start the ball rolling. (my list is not extensive but i’m hoping for better luck in future)

      1) Maggie Thatcher: i threw an egg at her when she was opening my local hospital (East Surrey Hospital) circu 1981. Before the cops nabbed me our eyes briefly met and she gave me that stare . . . you know the stare i’m referring to.

      2) Ken Dodd: i  met him in Southport town centre many years ago. Such a nice man!

      3) 1970’s radio DJ David ‘diddy’ Hamilton: Met him when he fell out drunk from my local nightclub ‘Busby’s’ in Redhill, Surrey late 70’s.

      4) The End (i did warn you that my list is not gonna be extensive!)

Billy Connolly, met him when he was filming his BBC World Tour Of England series for the BBC back in the 90’s. Very funny man, always laughing. Also, Bobby Charlton and Mavis from Coronation Street.

100% agree with you there @joejoe the ‘Big Yin’ Billy Connolly is a comical genius.

Bobby Charlton – quite possibly the greatest ever English footballer.

Mavis ‘ooh, I don’t really know’ Riley ???

Various party leaders when I used to supply electronic message signs to party conferences in the 80/90’s, Sir Robin Day asked us to “go away” very nicely when he needed a balcony box we were working in to do a piece to camera 🙂

Accidentaly was sat in Cilla’s seat on a flight from London to Newcastle and had to move!, same flight got talking to Rick Wakeman and Nina Carter in departures before the flight, had bumped into him in C&A a couple of weeks before when he was playing at Newcastle City Hall.

Slobodan Miloševiće (president of what’s now Croatia) when I was working in the Federal Parliament in Belgrade just before it all kicked off!.

Please excuse spelling/typos. Apart from being a clot it turns out I had one on my cerebellum that's now causing various problems!

As a footy fanatic i’ve gotta say @Brydo gets the win after all he’s got Fergie, Dalgleish, Souness, Mcleish, Strachan, Barnes + Grobbellar in his list.

If i wasn’t a footy nut then it’d be a clear win for @kezo because his son married into a star’s family namely Phil ‘the power’ Taylor (the greatest darts player that’s ever lived)

                            Honourable mentions going out to: @Burgerman333 + @Menorca Mike + @MickC + @Phaedra + @jojoe

                                Good morning @Menorca Mike

According to celebritynetworth.com Phil ‘The Power’ Taylor’s net worth is somewhere north of £10m quid.

Not bad for a lad from the potteries that left school at 16 who then spent most of his early working life making toilet roll handles.

                                    Yes Mike!

There is a dark side to him and the family, from him being guilty of a sex attack, when he owned thr cricketer arms, a bitter divorce (Yvonne s made for life), 2 “supposedly” estranged daughters but, truth be told they were bitter after parents divorced.

Phill was considering going into I’m a celeb this year.

Well, not that I class them as ‘stars’ in the ‘celeb’ sense, but just this past year alone I met  – mainly on Veterans matters/ RBL Festival of Remembrance/ Remembrance Sunday (was a formal invited guest this year) and a RGP. Also some via my NFU/YAS connection or being a life member of Yorkshire County Cricket Club:

HM The King (Charles the Third) – twice

                                        HM Queen Camilla – twice

HRH Prince of Wales (Prince William)

                                        HRH Princess of Wales

HRH The Princess Royal (Princess Anne)

Rt Hon Rishi Sunak MP (he is my local MP as well)

                                        Rt Hon Grant Shapps MP

                                        Rt Hon Steve Barclay MP

                                        Sundry MOD/DEFRA ministers.

                                        Others this year:

                                        Katherine Jenkins

                                        Francis Rossi

Jon Bonjovi (was sat next to him in first class to JFK) –  I didn’t know who he was at first.

                                        Sir Geoffrey Boycott

Guess I just operate in a somewhat parallel universe to most.

In the early 90’s I was a member of a very posh Hotel with gym membership in Surrey (through work obvs). One day I was actually off work with a heavy cold (no WFH in those days) and thought I’d go to for a sauna / wet room / jacuzzi to clear my head. Whilst there, I was in the jacuzzi and a couple of young kids were playing with what I thought was their mother. Now this was a posh place, and kids were only allowed in the pool area at weekends, not during weekdays. Being young, and without kids at the time, I whinged to the lady in the jacuzzi about hotel guests not following hotel/club rules. Where she told me they were her kids, and the lady with them was her nanny! It was then that I realised I was in a jacuzzi and talking to Demi Moore! Well I soon shut up, and told her it was quite all right after all! ??‍♂️

During this time, my future wife was in the gym and when I saw her, she told about this really annoyingly loud American in the gym who was not wiping down the equipment after using it! Of course that was Bruce Willis!??‍♂️

Yes it is a true story…

                                              Yippee-ki-yay, motherfeckers!??

                                              Kind regards
                                              Andy
