‘Sand batteries’ could be key breakthrough in storing solar and wind energy

      Read that. Finland I think. There are water batteries too but I couldn’t decipher exactly what it did

        There are a few storage options being talked about Kezo/struth. I like the sand option but my favourite is the massive weight that goes down a mine shaft and is winched up when there is spare green electricity then when power is needed it is lowered, connected to a turbine, and produces electricity.

         

        The only person who got all his work done by Friday was Robinson Crusoe.
