AnonymousHello Everyone,
I would like to introduce myself to you
Im Zayn, work for Renault in the Midlands, as my mother is a motability customer i’ve taken upon myself to ensure every motability customer gets the VIP treatment, sadly too many motability customers aren’t given good customer service.
Please free to ask me any questions regarding any models from the Renault range, it will be my pleasure answering your questions!
We have some fantastic deals on used and new models, but even better we have a great tea&coffee machine!

Bumped. (I think that’s what the kids call it when they promote a thread by adding a meaningless post)

The dealership name and works email may be helpful. Welcome to the forum.

March 2, 2020 at 7:58 pm #108196Hi Zayn,

Lee<p style=”text-align: right;”>The Renault trafic does not seem to get much coverage on the scheme. To me this seems like the ideal 8/9 seater. From looking into it it appears bigger than the Peugeot and Citroen equivalents and cheaper. The only issue is it is hard to get confirmed prices of this in auto . Some searches bring it up others dont. Is this available on the scheme in auto? As I think this is what we will choose next. Thanks.</p>

jamesgHi Lee Renault Traffic only available on the first page of Motability search . 16 available 6 of which are automatics . Does not show up on advanced search. Hope this helps

TonyD@roly : No.
(About two years ago) He [the Zayn I am referring to] reluctantly fetched a Koleos from a nearby supermarket car park for a test drive.
I went out with the manager on the test drive, then was told the Koleos was currently in short supply.
They would be back in touch when supplies are back to normal.
Never heard from him since.
(That’s when I bought an old Lexus RX350 – and still have it. I keep looking on the ‘scheme’, but nothing compares.)

Kevin MuldoonI’ve ordered a Renault Trafic automatic. I was due to change on 14th February. Latest info is that it will leave the factory on 5th March and it will be available for me on the 29th March. Don’t mind the wait, as I’ve still got my Ford S-Max in the mean time.

HA! SNAP. I tried nearly 2 years ago to get a test drive in a Koleos, the Renault Perth staff categorically said it wasn’t on the scheme, despite me bringing up the motability web page in the showroom. They just pointed at their dog-eared 4 month old printout & said no, then practically shoved me out of their brand new showroom (that was totally empty – no other customers around at all).
The worst customer service I have ever seen in a car dealership since my massive argument with the service manager at Arnold
ClarkShark back in 1999.In life, it's not who you know that's important, it's how your wife found out.
March 3, 2020 at 12:06 pm #108256I think Arnold Clark must have a policy of employing the most stupid and ignorant sales staff possible.
March 3, 2020 at 12:28 pm #108261
TonyDI’m not sure any are better than others.
Also, are they ‘really’ sales-people – or just customer assistants?
You go to a dealership, as you’re interested in a particular brand – so a car is partly sold already : by the buyer.
If you don’t know what you want – you go to a Motability ‘day out’ event – then, from the relevant dealership : you buy, they don’t sell.
PS. Where’s Zayn??
March 3, 2020 at 2:06 pm #108272I think Zayn has read the comments and done a runner.
March 3, 2020 at 3:02 pm #108283Or he just posted so he could tick a box that says he’s advertised the fact they do the scheme, like when you used to tell your parents you’d done your homework when in fact you had looked at the 1st page and decided you would do it before class the next day!

BrianWish you would do a runner Elliot. Thought u were barred from positing on this site?
March 3, 2020 at 3:42 pm #108289Brian,
Elliot is welcome here, there was a situation where someone was impersonating him, this has been solved now, we have the evidence logged.
March 3, 2020 at 4:31 pm #108294Thanks wmc
March 3, 2020 at 5:28 pm #108309Blue “Elliot” = Good

March 5, 2020 at 11:37 am #108543The black Elliot is an imposter who likes to cause trouble, the real Elliot is always a blue one.
March 5, 2020 at 1:12 pm #108552And for the benefit of all colour blind users……….. ?
March 5, 2020 at 2:56 pm #108560

March 5, 2020 at 3:06 pm #108562I’m sorry, this is all sounding incredibly racist…
March 5, 2020 at 5:55 pm #108582For colour blind users
“Elliot” that is underlined = Good
“Elliot” not underlined = Bad
