Leasing or HP due to increasing interest rate is going to make leasing and purchasing considerably more expensive, in theory making the Motability scheme more attractive, well that the theory anyway.

Unfortunately I have suffered a brain injury and occasionally I get confused and often say the wrong thing.

I hope all those dealers who have given dreadful service to motability customers  over the last few years have taken note.

Theirs a couple of dealers near me who will definitely NOT get my business.

yes agree fully.  things will come full circle.  right now there is more orders than demand.   i don’t think it will be as severe as last time in 2008/9 as the model in which people get cars now as changed( much more leasing than PCP or outright purchases).  but I do think the number of new orders will take a nose dive.  once that starts to hit home at the manufactures then yes the cars will go back onto the scheme and the APs will start to reduce again.  casing point for me in 2009 i got a 59 plate Volvo V70 se r-design for £1799 AP  still best car i ever had and still the cheapest AP i have ever made.  all due to the recession
