I have recently been told about Pickleball. Now I am an old codger, but have given it a go and it is a a cross between tennis and table tennis. It sits right between them. You have a solid paddle and hit a solid hollow ball with holes in it. The court size is much smaller than a tennis court.

      WHAT IS PICKLEBALL

Anyone else heard of it or tried it? What the latest sport you are doing?

Good luck with your new occupation. Having a hobby in a sport is very cool. I’ve heard of Pickleball, but I’ve never played it. I prefer golf. I’m so into the sport that I can’t get enough of it. Unfortunately I have arthritis in my feet and now I’m looking for the best golf shoes for bad feet so I can play without problems. Fortunately, there are many golf shoes specifically designed to alleviate foot pain.

So are you still playing Maxxx17  (think that’s enough x’s?), or is it just too painful, maybe just smack a few buckets of balls from the range mats just to keep your swing and aim in order..

Even find a pitch put that’s looked after well..

I started playing tennis last year. Anyone in the Carlisle area should get in touch with Chatsworth Tennis Club to confirm the session is on. They have tennis chairs and rackets for you to use. Or bring your own!

Golf day arrived, I’m going out 1 of 4 from of each team split up..

One guy recently reinstated due to anger management in amongst my group..

1st guy whack to the left, but ok, 2nd whack straight down the middle lovely  3rd me whack not bad, let’s say ok, 4 angry guy whack tee miles in the air 3 iron along the ground.. Anyway half way around the course angry guy got blood on his socks from his brand new shoes, 8th hole this 3 iron have been taking a hell of a battering all the way..

Smash hits the mat way short of the tee and ball well, he stood whacking this 3 iron on to the mat from over his head flung it, took the shoes off f ing & blinding stormed off..

Painful feet in golf not good I guess..
