Well finally, After missing out on the Kia Sportage due it being removed from motability list.
So After much reading and watching YouTube videos on the Peugeot 308 I booked a test drive on the 14/06/2022 with Evans Halshaw dealership in Doncaster City. Yes we are now a city.
After a good hours test drive on mixed roads, I was Highly delighted with the car. It literally has everything under the sun when it comes to tech. Might take a few days to configure it all to my liking.
I decided against the Hybrid route purely due to the cost of installing a home charger. I have to say that going for just petrol engine saves some 300 pounds in weight by not having the battery on board.
This means more boot space as well. I have to say for a 3 cylinder petrol engine, it is no slouch.
I absolutely love the interior and cock pit. The all digital dash and the oh so comfortable seats, that are heated if required as is the very small and almost rectangle steering wheel. I found very nice to use. I have gone for the metallic green paint that really stands out. The same green is used in the car fabrics.
Expected delivery due in September 2022. That is allowing for factory holidays in August.

pleased for you joss, wish i could get in/out of one lol.
must say ive noticed many on here go for more colourful motors veryy few whites,greys and silvers so why do manufacturers always offer 3 whites,3 greys and 2 or more silvers???
have a look at the new captur colour pallet one blue the rest silver or grey. put me off it straight away didnt even sit in it to try it once i saw the choices.
Well Folks I have picked up my Peugeot 308 GT Premium today. Absolutely chuffed to bits with it I have to say. I will get some pics taken tomorrow for you all. In the mean time here’s a video of the 308 being built.

Over ÂŁ3k AP? Wow. No words. The scheme had finally gone mad.
Very nice looking car joss, shame about the few missing items, but if you didn’t have them you can’t miss them I guess..
However the foot waggle boot opener would have been great on our Volvo (missing) as Mrs aj can’t press the fob button and hold (it’s not instant), also the boot button seems to open at speed for her…. Underneath Foot sensor was A selling point for us, and the missing heat steering wheel, we were gutted..
Anyway great looking car, we’ll done look forward to a few pics, love the vids too?
@Kezo Today being Sunday and the sun is out, I might get chance for a little run in the car. But really I need to spend time configuring settings. Loving Android Auto, using my Spotify account for music. Got to say the Focal sound system is awesome.

Agree configuring settings first, otherwise it will just be on your mind when you take your car out and won’t get as much pleasure from it.
My Fleet of Peugeot 308 at my Construction Company and logging company in Farming Simulator 19.
couldn’t do the rear plates yellow as they are French mods. Anyway thought you’d like them. And yes I have Citroën’s in my fleet too lol
