In February my Motability hire car was involved in a multi car pile up when I stopped in a queuing traffic but the ones behind me just kept on going.

Whilst RSA will sort out the mess of the repairing the vehicle with Europcar, getting my recent injuries  fixed is going to take at least 6 months.  In a previous claim, I took RSA’s advice and used their relationship with Carpenters – which didn’t go well and sacked them and went to another firm Potter Rees Dolan whom were excellent. However, this new case will fall below their claim threshold.

There are so many PI firms advertising. However, many of the reviews are mixed and there doesn’t seem to be a clear candidate.

Does any one have any recent and positive experience of a PI firm ?

        Hi Steve

I have been working in PI arranging treatment and medico-legal reports for the last 16 years (11 of which running my own company)  I can highly recommend Howard Kent at Debenhams Ottaway solicitors in St Albans or Paul Turner at FT Chronic Pain solicitors. Both are small companies but with a nationwide presence. Message me if you would like their contact details. They are on the interweb thingy

          Thanks,

So many firms are just claims farms with an army of paper shufflers and very few qualified staff.  At working for the regulators the only names you came across – were the ones you would not want to do represent you !

Of the many, many injuries I have had in the past (broken bones, severed fingers, brain damage, stabbed, blown up, electrocuted ..) these are amongst the most painful I have ever had and not easing.

Give them a call after the holidays

          thanks
