Part Exchange?

I have been receiving PIP since 2016 but I would now like to consider moving across to the mutability scheme.  Has any first timers part exchanged their car as part of AP? Vehicles I am looking at will have an AP that I expect is higher than the value of my 2008 vehicle I had now and so whilst I know I will still need to pay toward the AP, I was hoping that I could part exchange as a way of helping. If you have done this, what was your experience?

      Which Mobility Car

Yes, seamless, price offered was acceptable, not top but the convenience outweighed the financial hit.

I part exchanged my Ford Fiesta for a Kuga in 2015, I firstly went in just to see what they would give me for my car since I had purchased it from them, they offered me a decent price for it and several weeks later I returned to order the Kuga and discussed the part exchange and all was agreed upon the price they initially offered me. Since not many miles were added to the car in the waiting period, the price was still valid when I picked up the Kuga, I had to obviously pay the difference in the part exchange/AP shortfall and options I had picked.

Ah this is good. I don’t think I will get a lot for my car. it’s in great condition with a full service history but it is. 2008 car with 120000 on the clock now. It will be good to know I can get the dealer to value it and take it off my hands so I don’t have to sell privately with all the hassle that can bring.

            Thanks

If you order a car now that might take quite a while to arrive, I can not see many dealers agreeing to give you the price they said in a few months time.
