Looks like I am going to get my first car parking fine, parked at Symths toys, no visible signage as regards parking except a reminder as you leave the carpark.
Daughter tried to contact the parking firm Parkopedia, no customer service phone no, tried to email no customer service no only a site to make suggestions ?
Apparently you have to pay using your smart phone, what happens if you don’t have a smart phone.
I have searched for hours trying to find customer services all I can find is bad reviews online.
Update: Have now found out the parking company is Groupnexus ?

Further research £60 for a breach of contract, apparently these cowboy ignore the rules and just send in the bailiffs. This has to be bad for the retails businesses I will never go back again.

Private parking firms cannot send bailiffs to your home, becaust they would need a court order! They can however send in debt collectors, who must tell you when they are coming and have as much right as the ice cream man taking you tv or whater, can only phone or write to discuss debt and they cannot repeatedly contact, harass or during unsociable hours.
A simple way of dealing with a debt collecter, is deny you owe them debt. A debt collecter would then stop contacting you as they a regulated and may be considered harassment, to which you can report them.

If any concerns just visit the retailer manager and request them cancel it or you won’t be visiting or spending money after received a parking charge. Retailers pay them, so in most cases will cancel the charge, if they think they will loose money!
If the sign wasn’t clear, take a pic of that!
Not had loads but, those I have had, I have never payed. Mum had one at a pub she regularly goes in January and the pub canceled the charge after speaking to them 🙂

before doing so, I suggest you read the new private parking firms rules (most trade body members have changed rules but not all), especialy as groupnexus (020 7431 4001) is a member of the IPA.
The son in law has correspond with Groupnexus, they have emailed back:
We can confirm that as long as the duration paid for covers the duration parked on the correct date, this will be sufficient.
Should you receive a parking charge, please appeal accordingly as we can only deal with active charges.
