John NewtonBrilliant edition but the question is where do you get one?
February 9, 2023 at 10:21 am #208753
steveWhilst not suited to our needs, I do like it especially for the younger scheme drivers and those mature but still young at heart.
February 9, 2023 at 10:40 am #208758February 9, 2023 at 11:00 am #208761What I do think it shows is Mb willingness to think outside the box, hopefuly see more from other brands. At the same time it also gives European manufacturers something to think about with their pricing structures.
Wouldn’t surprise me if BYD Atto 3 is next to join the scheme.
February 9, 2023 at 12:05 pm #208774I like it, a bit too small for my needs but fantastic to see it on the scheme.
February 9, 2023 at 12:36 pm #208777Sorry not for me its an ugly duckling
Unfortunately I have suffered a brain injury and occasionally I get confused and often say the wrong thing.
February 9, 2023 at 1:15 pm #208782boot isnt good for disabled, but as a town car i guess its got possibilities
Current Car: Hyundai Kona Premium EV...2 way 40kg hoist
Last Car: Toyota C-HR Excel Hybrid...4 way 80kg hoistFebruary 9, 2023 at 1:48 pm #208787why is it people immediately jump in and knock it just beacause it doesnt suit their circumstances.
it is what it is a reasonable town car with a decent range if your home charging.
admitedley as with any car that size your not going to get a scooter or wheelchair in but not all disabled people need either.
the cabin looks decent.
and in these days of huge ap’s a reasonable price.
nice to see.
February 9, 2023 at 1:59 pm #208789£2000 AP for a city car. Stop the world I want to get off!
Enyaq EV
February 9, 2023 at 2:01 pm #208790Exterior looks like a mix of a few different cars and the interior has a modern day Nissan figaro vibe.
Pretty cool little car.
No good for me as I don’t fancy a 5 hour round trip to take it to the nearest dealer ?
I am actually quite surprised to see this car on the scheme. Hopefully we see more EV’s like this join. Even if it’s not suitable for me I’m still happy with any increase in choice

Very beetle like at the front, interior wise especially the dash/cluster look better than some of the better known EV’s.
February 9, 2023 at 2:11 pm #208792Don’t think anyone was knocking it. It is fine for a small car, although boot is not only small but awkward. Range is fine for an urban motor. Looks, well I’ve seen worse. Some might love it. My mates wife will want one for a start.

Last Car: Toyota C-HR Excel Hybrid...4 way 80kg hoistFebruary 9, 2023 at 2:12 pm #208793Not a fan EV’s in general but as a city car they have advantages such as no pollution.
Looks like a funky little thing, basis for the next mini so should be well put together.
Too small for our needs, the AP is a bit on the high side for a small car plenty of other small EV’s on the scheme for a lot less AP.
Lack of any dealers within a 100miles at the moment would also be a reason why I wouldn’t buy one.
As always you pays you money and takes your choice.

PsuaderAs someone who left the scheme a year ago, and would love to come back, this is great news. It’s irrelevant that some don’t like the looks or their proximity to dealers is not ideal. It means Motability is embracing change and new thinking. I’m excited by the possibilities.

PhilAnother small car that doesn’t really offer anything to the scheme in my opinion.
I’d be very surprised if you don’t have trouble with these new makes over the 3 yr ownership.
I’m sure there will be plenty with a different opinion to me mind.
February 9, 2023 at 4:51 pm #208810I almost immediately dismissed it as another small EV but when I checked the specs it’s actually 1.603m high, that’s almost the same as my current Ateca so would be feasable if I had a dealer near me and the ability to charge at home!
Please excuse spelling/typos. Apart from being a clot it turns out I had one on my cerebellum that's now causing various problems!
February 9, 2023 at 5:09 pm #208811Whilst it’s not for me the various reviews I’ve seen seemed to conclude it was ok and perfectly capable. The important thing is it’s a new badge on the scheme and let’s hope it’s the start of an avalanche!

steveOne of the biggest gripes of todays cars is like the song lyrics
Little boxes on the hillside
Little boxes made of ticky-tacky
Little boxes on the hillside
Little boxes all the sameAnything that shakes the market up with some new design ideas gets my support

Yes. 24 hours it lasted. I think that may be a new ‘Personal Best’ for the shortest stay on the Scheme
I’m sure it will be back once the right person has ‘signed it off’

I always take these type of reviews with a pinch of salt and read between the lines, as they will knock a star off for the boot and another for it’s range, yet they seem to forget Mini EV only has a dire 145 mile range. Like the Ora, both the Honda E and Renaualt score 3 stars or below, yet the Zoe has terrific reviews and user videos when viewd as the “city” car/s they are.
