      So I thought I would get my app up and running before my car arrives at the end of the week and i am confused. My app screen shows

      Load limit 100A

      CT clamp reading 1A

      Load balancing on

      Max charge current 32A

      My issue is with the CT clamp reading. It stays at 1 amp even when I put the kettle on, but I have noticed that on the screen of the charger it changes from 1 amp to about 10. Is this normal or is my clamp on the wrong way or something.

        @collie

        You will only see a CT clamp reading when you are charging your car.

        The CT clamp is for the charger only, also, to tell the smart meter when you are charging.

          The CT clamp monitors the total household load (not just that of the charger) and will reduce power to the charger, should your total useage be within 10-15% of the incoming supply fuse rating.

          The app should mirror that of the charger but, if the charger is showing 10A, I wouldn’t worry about it untill you have your car. However, if you have a 13A kettle, the charger is reading slightly low but, again I wouldn’t worry at this stage.

            Thanks. I’ll wait and see when the car comes then. Probably me just worrying too much.
