Nissan Ariya Remote Park ?

Nissan Global and a few other sites I’ve seen, advertise a Pro Pilot remote parking function, to move the car out/ in a tight garage or when someone parks too close to you. I’ve looked in the 2023 manual and there’s no mention of this function. Also it shows a key fob with 4 buttons, and all I’ve seen is a 3 button key fob. The text says you hold down 2 buttons to move the car forwards,  and a different combination to reverse. Any one know? I’m asking as this is a really handy feature, and it’s available on the Kia Niro .

@David it doesn’t look like the UK Version of the Ariya does have the remote parking feature. I think at the moment all it has is the Pro Pilot Self Parking System. When I go and have a test drive at our local Nissan garage in the near future I will ask.

I have the Remote Parking feature on my Hyundai Tucson Phev which I find a handy feature, I have used it many  times to get me out of tight parking spaces.

UK spec doesn’t have it only Japan and USA . You can tell what countries have it if you see two shark fins on the roof.

That is such a pity.  I know it may sound pedantic,  but I would rather have the remote summon feature than auto park. As you say, getting a child in a car that you can’t open the door is a pain, as you can’t leave the child in the buggy while you try to get the car out. Oh well, guess its the Niro then. At least I have choices.

For those lucky enough to get the full hybrid GTLS Sportage when it was available, that had this feature.

You can add the Tech Pack to a Hyundai Tucson for £1,500 which includes remote parking.

Got a reply from Nissan stating that this feature is available in Japan,  but not in UK due to regulatory issues. Similar issue with the auto park feature that I’ve seen on the Renault Austral. Apparently making right hand drive cars screws up the tech layout?.
