Hello. I’m new to the forum but nine years a motability customer.

The new Mokka has been launched and it looks incredible. I have tried to discover if/when it will be available on the scheme. Had a nice conversation with a lovely person at Vauxhall Motability head office who said that unfortunately there was no info on this…

…so my question is, in your opinion how long on average should it take for a new model to be introduced after its launch?Three months, six…?

I need to renew my  car now, but would arrange an extension if I knew it was possible to get one of these cars. They really are spectacular.

Has it actually hit the showrooms yet? I can’t see it making an appearance before the quarter that follows it going on sale, at best.

I was watching Thomas give it a good going over on Autogefuhl last night. Looked a big improvement on the old one!

Hi Bandit. I appreciate your reply. It’s not in showrooms yet but you can reserve one for purchase for 250quid (refundable), with delivery suggested as April. Vauxhall have released tons of spec and price info.

I really want to be able to wait for one. My guess was that beginning of quarter after release was about right, but wanted some input. This will be my 4th motability car, and my previous choices were very easy and readily available so I never bothered with launch dates etc.

Best ring motability help line and ask if it will be making an appearance, if they say they don’t get know then I’m afraid it’s just a case of wait and see.
