Hmmmmm! … Love what they’ve done with this (apart from too many triangular lights on the front!)

      What do you guys think?

        rear end very nice ,

        adjustable temp for rear passengers,

        nice colour digital display.

        dislikes .

front lighting(too much ) and design.

centre console too much touchscreen (like buttons as well).

Sides look like a climbing wall.

My opinion ,as I said will be people who will love all of it but I wouldn’t consider

Not bad looking, but having had a Tuscon recently I would worry a out the bits you don’t see. In the 34k miles I drove one the clutch was replaced, bearings in both rear wheels went and a suspected linkage problem in gears 1&2 (manual). I was also bombarded with promotion literature over the 3 years lease, despite me contacting them bu telephone and email asking it to stop.

I know there is every chance I was unlucky and got a bit a lemon but sadly, these experiences have a big influence. Hyundai not for me I’m afraid.

@Menorca Mike, that’s a shame, they speak very highly of you ?

Apart from the front grille, I like it, although they have clearly taken inspiration from the DS7 Crossback, but changed all the diamond bits to triangles.

The interior looks suitably premium too.

The trouble with Hyundais and Kias is that they’re usually boring to drive and not especially comfortable either.

However, definitely worth a look when it comes out.

I’m in the like it all catagory. I like the front back and sides and I think the interior looks great. As good as anything else out there German premium included. Just wish it had a seven seat option.

My dads had a Kia Sorento for 4 years and it has gone wrong a bit but always fixed through warranty. He says it’s the best car he’s ever had.

Have to confess I’m in the “not-like-it” camp. If you’ve got to design a big high-sided vehicle then don’t make it look all bumpy like this. Looks like it’s had a shunt front and back. Find wheels and front end too “in-yer-face”. Also too much flashy, bleepy electronics inside. Like others here, I prefer switches and buttons. Will admit I simply don’t like SUVs, prefer ordinary car-shaped cars.

Dont like it, looks like its been designed by a Cadillac designer, but hey,, we are all different, what i like others may not, maybe it will “grow on me”

                    Good luck though

I do like it very much, we have a Tiggy now which is 3yrs old next April and would deffo consider this as it’s replacement. Depends on AP and if it has a good auto box and how it drives.

Looks absolutely stunning stunning. Does this not start at 37k though? Has it ever been on Motability?

The current Tucson starts at around £23k, although, I would expect the new model to start off @ £25k before topping out at £40k.

                          Motability cars:

The current tuscon has been on the scheme for a good while. We returned one recently after completing the standard 3 years lease.

Quite like it but not a fan of the wheels on the car in the video

It looks like any other of the current crop of SUVs from a variety of manufacturers.

                                    AND

It has exhaust pipes, enough said.
